[edit] About

Aya Takano lives and works in Kyoto, Japan. She is a member of Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki Studio in Tokyo and received her degree in Fine Arts at the Tama Art University, Tokyo. Her fantastical work have at its core Japanese manga, science fiction novels, a hint of eroticism, and modified Japonisme. Her drawings and paintings, in which her lively characters freely float, are filled with pure passion and an energy toward creation.
